7 day New Year Diet Sometimes it just hits you! You wake up and feel super-motivated, ready to do whatever it takes to make a change right NOW. And you are not messing around this time!

Lotus 7 day New Year Diet is easy to follow, and will help you rid your system of the holiday toxins. If you are one of those who people who do a religious fast at the beginning of the year, then good! Be sure not to binge at the end of the day, if you want to maintain your fasting weight loss. For others who are still sluggish, and haven't gotten around to being alert for 2014, this 7 day jump start is for you. Do this program to break old habits, when your indulgences (eating rice and chicken by midnight) are getting out of control… Note though , this program is not for life. since it involves lowering your consumption of calories (1,200-1,300 per day) it is to be used as a short term plan for up to a maximum to 2 weeks. While it is physician approved, please check with your doctor if you have any health issues before embarking on a calorie restricted or protein rich diet.

How it works:

  • A) You'll be eating 4 meals a day. Eliminate starchy carbohydrates - bread, rice, pasta, pounded yam, garri, (no pain no gain right…?)
  • B) Focus instead on lean proteins (meat without the fat - you can get the butcher to trim the fat off before you take it home) vegetables, and delicious protein shakes.
  • C) 2 of your meals will be made up of lean protein and vegetables only. your other two meals you will enjoy a nutritious protein shake as a meal replacement with a small serving of fruit.
  • D) Avoid dairy, too many nuts, and salt.
  • E) keep guzzling water, drink 8-10 glasses a day.
